Snow: A Precious Commodity
[ December 12th, 2008 ] By: Charles Smith Posted in » Videos

So it snowed a bit here in Rochester and the snowfall beckoned me for a little late night driving. I grabbed the video camera and set out for my first drive on snow in the all seasons this winter. There’s even some footage of it on YouTube! Hooray:

Link for you RSS peeps.

Remember be safe and keep warm! I’m so excited for the upcoming winter (it’s still technically fall!).

Looks like fun - enjoyable, but not too much hoonage.

We *may* get snow here this winter, but time will tell.

We have ice covering every inch of road here in Portland. My front-wheel drive beast is no fun now not to mention completely useless. But my dad’s expedition takes ice exceptionally well, needless to say, not a corner, stop light, nor stop sign has been left un-drifted ;)

Yea. I’m guessing the whole weight issue helps with ice a ton. given same width tires the more mass your vehicle has, the more cornering force your tires can provide (and must provide!).
